Can anyone buy from B stock?
We never collect sales tax on behalf of our sellers, and only sell to buyers who have state issued reseller\'s certificates. Users in any state that has a sales tax must submit a reseller\'s certificate to be approved on B-Stock Supply.
To start bidding on Supply you'll need to create an account with us. Please visit the Registration Page to get started. Resale certificates from our US buyers or tax IDs from non-US buyers are required. For more info on that check out our Buying Basics: Resale Certificate blog.
How It Works: Bidding. All B-Stock sales are conducted in an online auction format. B-Stock's platform connects sellers with buyers worldwide, allowing buyers to bid against each other with the highest bid winning an auction. Each auction has a start time and a close time.
Online payments are available on select B-Stock marketplaces. From your Orders Page, you must accept the terms and conditions and select your banking institution. Learn more about online payments. If you are unfamiliar with sending a wire payment, please contact your financial institution directly for assistance.

B-Stock is an affiliate of Amazon. The Amazon Tax Exemption Program (ATEP) supports tax exempt purchases for sales sold by Amazon.com, its affiliates, and participating independent third-party sellers.
B-stock is genuine and authentic brand stock, usually created when a manufacturer has an instrument that has been on display at a trade show or previously loaned to an artist. Generally the item will be in perfect condition, but will have been unboxed before being put back in its original packaging.
If you retain B Shares you will receive cash dividends on the B Shares twice a year fixed at 75 per cent of the interest rate known as LIBOR. The example below will give you an idea of the sort of return you can expect should you decide to retain your B Shares.
The Bottom Line. Class A and Class B shares differ in their availability, convertibility, and power as it relates to voting. One isn't necessarily better than the other, but Class A shares offer significant benefit in the event of a sale or when an outside force wants to obtain more voting power.
Class B shares offer a range of benefits to investors. They are often priced lower than their Class A counterparts, offer some level of voting rights, and can provide a stable dividend payment. Additionally, they can offer tax benefits and flexibility that are not available with other types of shares.
Can you pay with credit card on B-Stock?
We do not accept credit cards, personal checks or Western Union for payment under any circ*mstance. Refer to your Bid Won emails for specific payment instructions. B-Stock collects payment on behalf of sellers on most of our marketplaces, and sellers are notified when an order has been paid for.
B-Stock refers to items that were opened and returned, have a cosmetic blemish or imperfection (like a ding in the tolex of an amp or a scratch on the face of an effects pedal), or were used as demo units in a shop. These products are tested to manufacturer's specs and are guaranteed to function perfectly.
Re: b-stock stuff on ebay and other places...
B-stock is often items that have been returned for one reason or another. Usually from a customer that didn't like it. Sometimes there was something wrong with it and it was repaired at the factory.

What is C stock vs B-stock?
Class A shares generally have more voting power and higher priority for dividends, while Class B shares are common shares with no preferential treatment. Class C shares can refer to shares given to employees or alternate share classes available to public investors, with varying restrictions and voting rights.
B-stock gear is inventory we buy directly from the manufacturer. Most typically, these items are repacks or refurbished units that are in perfect working order.
Conversion to Class A: Class B shares automatically convert to Class A shares after a specific holding period. This conversion is beneficial because Class A shares have a lower yearly expense ratio than Class B shares.
Class B Shares are typically less liquid than other types of shares, such as Class A Shares, which are often traded on public exchanges. By redeeming their Class B Shares, investors can convert their investment into cash, providing them with greater flexibility and control over their financial situation.
Berkshire has two classes of common stock designated Class A Common Stock and Class B Common Stock. Each share of Class A Common Stock is convertible, at the option of the holder, into 30 shares of Class B Common Stock.
