Union Bank’s Overdraft Privilege is a service included with your checking account. With Overdraft Privilege, we authorize and pay overdrafts up to your assigned overdraft limit for the following types of transactions:
- Checks and other transactions made using your checking account number
- Automatic Bill payments
- Digital Banking Bill Pay transactions
Note: Union Bank pays overdrafts at our discretion, which means that we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction.If we do not authorize to pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined.
Under our standard overdraft practices:
- We will charge you a fee of up to $32 each time we pay an Overdraft
- There is a maximum of five (5) Overdraft fees that may be assessed per day
