What is Ochin MyChart? ›

MyChart allows patients to: Access and keep track of medications, lab results, immunizations and more. Manage appointments, send and receive secure messages, request prescription refills and referrals, and pay bills with a credit card via third-party integration.

ECU Health (formerly Vidant Health) is a not-for-profit, 1,447-bed hospital system that serves more than 1.4 million people in 29 Eastern North Carolina counties.

Your activation code will be printed on your after-visit summary, can be printed for you or sent to the email address we have on file for you, upon your request.

Some test results are not released to your MyChart account because of their sensitive nature. Your doctor determines which types of test results are able to be accessed through MyChart and which might require an in person conversation.

How do I find my MyChart username? ›

Steps to recover username

If you forget your username, you will be asked to verify your first name, last name, date of birth and ZIP code. Once you click the submit button, an email from mychart@ohsu.edu will be sent to your email containing your MyChart username. The email subject will say “MyChart Verification code."

All lab results are compared to a standard guideline for what is considered “within normal range.” These standards were developed as a guide but are not absolute. You will see an exclamation point (!) next to the result if it's outside of the normal range, but that isn't necessarily a cause for concern.

If your blood counts fall outside of the normal range, which is shown in the “Reference interval” column, their values will be reported in the “Flag” column with an 'L' for low and an 'H' for high. The example CBC below shows that white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets are all low. CBC WITH DIFFERENTIAL.

MyChart is EPIC's patient portal. MyChart is a secure means for patients to access parts of their health records through a web browser and cell-phone apps.

You might receive email or text notifications that contain links to MyChart. These notifications allow you to login to MyChart securely using a link that expires after a short time. Keeping your MyChart account secure means keeping your phone number and email account secure.
